I really like the way that i propped the lip gloss and the way that it looks. I also really like the way that i edited it to make it look like a real ad. I also didn't add a splash to the background because i thought that it took away from the cleanliness in the image.
2. What would you have done differently in your process that would have changed the outcome of the image?
I think that i would have taken another photo of the lip gloss top without any tape on it with the same lighting so i could edit the one without tape onto this one because you can kind of tell that there was tape there before.
3. What photoshop techniques did you use?
I went into camera raw filter and upped the exposure and a few other minor adjustments. I also used the spot heal tool and took off some of the little dots that were on the background and also that were on the applicator stick just to touch up. I tried my best to edit out the tape that was holding up the applicator stick and it came out a little bit funny but i think it doesn't look as bad as it could have been.
4. What font did you use?
4. What font did you use?
I actually didn't use a specific font because i couldn't find one that I felt fit what i wanted it to look like. So instead i found the actual logo for the gloss and edited that on.
5. Why did you use that font?
5. Why did you use that font?
I did this instead because i thought that it looked much better this way rather than if i tried to match it with a seperate font.
