Animated Snow Globe
1. Was this project enjoyable to work on? why/why not?
I enjoyed this project because i liked being able to make things in photoshop when its purely made from the settings in photoshop and nothing was added except for the background and the figure.
2. Do you like your finished product? why/why not?
2. Do you like your finished product? why/why not?
I like my finished project but i wish i added a background that didn't have snow already so you could see the animation better.
3. What does Command +J do?
It copies a layer
4. What tool do you use to create the Frame Animation?
4. What tool do you use to create the Frame Animation?
The Timeline tool and then adding frames to the timeline and making only certain layers visible.
5. Would you want to create another animation - why?
5. Would you want to create another animation - why?
I think that i would because i think that it is something that we don't usually do and it was a new side of photoshop that i thought was fun.

composition assignment
Fill the Frame
Rule of thirds
What is your best photo and why?
I think that my best photo is my second rule of thirds photo because I really like the effect that the natural lighting had on the buildings and i edited out some power lines but i liked the way that it turned out. i also think that the rule of thirds effect did it well.
How would you improve your "Worst photo"?
My least favorite photo would have to be the second strong point of interest photo and that is because i think that i could have done something that had a much better point of interest. If i stepped farther back and maybe adjusted my depth of field to make it more of the subject, it could have turned out better.

Green Screen
I think that editing me into the image was easy and editing the other outfits on top was easy as well
What was difficult?
I think that catching the right angle that i wanted was difficult and getting the image to focus was difficult as well.
What do you like about your image?
I like the funny factor that I am the one that is doing everything in the photo and i like that i actually got it to work because i lost hope in the idea at some points.
What would you change?
I wish that i could change that i stood too close to the green screen and i tried my best to make sure you couldn't see the green on me but i didn't do too well of a job.

Product Picture
I really like the way that i propped the lip gloss and the way that it looks. I also really like the way that i edited it to make it look like a real ad. I also didn't add a splash to the background because i thought that it took away from the cleanliness in the image.
2. What would you have done differently in your process that would have changed the outcome of the image?
I think that i would have taken another photo of the lip gloss top without any tape on it with the same lighting so i could edit the one without tape onto this one because you can kind of tell that there was tape there before.
3. What photoshop techniques did you use?
I went into camera raw filter and upped the exposure and a few other minor adjustments. I also used the spot heal tool and took off some of the little dots that were on the background and also that were on the applicator stick just to touch up. I tried my best to edit out the tape that was holding up the applicator stick and it came out a little bit funny but i think it doesn't look as bad as it could have been.
4. What font did you use?
4. What font did you use?
I actually didn't use a specific font because i couldn't find one that I felt fit what i wanted it to look like. So instead i found the actual logo for the gloss and edited that on.
5. Why did you use that font?
5. Why did you use that font?
I did this instead because i thought that it looked much better this way rather than if i tried to match it with a seperate font.

Still Life
- My Favorite image was the second image with the baseball and mitt. I like this one because I really enjoy the angle that the glasses are at on the glove.
- The lighting in my favorite image is more so diffused across the subjects instead of being plain as a spotlight.
- I think that setting up the table to take pictures went pretty well because we were able to place the items creatively and find cool ways to place things.
- I would have explored changing the settings on the camera more because although we changed the settings I wish that I payed more attention to how I wanted the subjects to look in the photo.
- The elements I tried to portray were the rule of thirds with a subject in each third while all being in the middle of the image. I also thought that color was being portrayed with all warm colors.

Depth of Field (Maddie & Nina)
What worked well?
Taking the photos worked very nicely because since it was set up all that we had to do was look at the settings and change to our liking.
How did you edit your photo?
We edited our photo by making it a smart object and going to camera raw filter. Then we checked what it looked like with the auto edit on and we made further adjustments to our liking. Then we cropped the photo to get the perfect look of our photo.
What was your depth of field?
Our depth of field was more of an inbetween stage rather than being very shallow or very deep.

Before and After Editing
I would rate this process a 4 out of 10 on difficulty because i knew the process pretty well it was just having to go through with it and do it that was the difficult part. One thing that changed my pictures for the best was figuring out what size was the best. Then when i made it automatically change what it thought would look good, it made it look so much better.

Principles of Design
Pattern
Is achieved by the repetition of any of the elements of art.
When you first look at each of these photos, one of the first things you notice is the repetition that appears in each photo.
Symmetrical Balance
is best described as a mirror-image
composition, what is found on one side of the image is found on the
other.
Each of these photos represent symmetry and what is on one side is on the other.
