Is achieved by the repetition of any of the elements of art.

When you first look at each of these photos, one of the first things you notice is the repetition that appears in each photo.

 

Symmetrical Balance

is best described as a mirror-image composition, what is found on one side of the image is found on the other.

Each of these photos represent symmetry and what is on one side is on the other.

Element of Color

Each of these pictures displays the element of color. The last three pictures were taken on a film camera that was able to capture a richer unedited version than what could've been taken on my phone. In the last photo containing the landscape of the plants and lush, there is so much color in the green that the absence of it pops out to the eye. The second to last photo shows many colors through the plants on the sides but also many colors in the dirt. The green and the brown compliment each other and make the colors look brighter. The third photo has the darkness of the rocks which makes the blue and green pop out way more than it would have without it. The next photo contains many different tiles with many different colors that once they are next to each other they create the picture. The last photo contains the view of the plant in the front with the sky in the back which makes the plant the main object.

• Line- A point moving in space

• Color- Reflection of Light

• Value- Lights and darkness of a hue

• Shape- The area enclosed by an outline

• Form- has volume and its three dimensional 

• Texture- The way something feels or the way something look likes it feels

• Space- Two dimensional arrangement of objects in a photo or Three dimensional illusion of depth
